Col. Bailey's Second Mass Regiment was founded in late 1974 as Bicentennial fever began to become epidemic in many Massachusetts's towns and villages. Since it's founding so many years ago, the organization continues to thrive, and has grown to include more focused and professional educational resources in the continuing search to understand the history of the United States. This growth has brought the organization to it's current objective; To perpetuate the memory, spirit and lifestyle of the men and women, both military and civilian, of the period of the American Revolution. Col. Bailey's Second Mass. has accomplished this goal by both celebrating our nation's history as well as educating others on the dress, customs, activities, and implements of that period of time.
